Avocado pits have an intentive pink colour pigment when extracted, which is not only suitable for natural textile dyes, but for other natural based materials too like wood. Wood takes in the pigments well without the need for chemicals in the dye process. Only natural non-toxic ingredients were used to pretreat the wood, so it can soak in the avocado pit dye to its full extent.
